Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using ChalkCode (“the Platform,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

Description of Service

ChalkCode is a vintage-themed coding practice platform that provides:

• Interactive coding problems and challenges
• Whiteboard-style coding practice environment
• Progress tracking and solution storage
• Educational content and coding resources

User Accounts

Account Creation

To access certain features of the Platform, you may be required to create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your account information
• Keep your account credentials secure
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in activities that may harm the Platform or other users.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or to solicit unlawful activity
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform or its systems
• Upload, post, or transmit any harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's functionality
• Use automated tools to access or interact with the Platform without permission
• Share or distribute copyrighted material without proper authorization
• Impersonate any person or entity

Intellectual Property

Platform Content

The Platform and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by ChalkCode and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

User Content

You retain ownership of any code, solutions, or content you create using the Platform. By using the Platform, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and process your content as necessary to provide our services.

Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of the Platform, to understand our practices regarding the collection and use of your personal information.

Payment and Billing

If the Platform offers paid services:

• Payment terms will be clearly specified at the time of purchase
• All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated
• We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice
• Failure to pay may result in service suspension

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Service Availability

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ChalkCode and its employees, contractors, agents, officers and directors from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees).

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Platform immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to a breach of the Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which ChalkCode operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
